Software QA/QC/Test Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Performs all testing activities defined by the Scrum and Agile software development process.
• Works with product managers and other testers to define story tests and test cases.
• Creates test data and test functions for the various test cases.
• Tests the product using a combination of automated & manual testing.
• Writes precise and concise bug descriptions that add value for the developers.
• Works closely with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
• Estimates required timeframe and deadlines for accomplishing tasks in the project.
• Maximize design & scenario/test reuse and ensures quality processes are occurring.
• Performs any other related duties as may be assigned.
• Delivers quality products to the market.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with automated testing tools specifically for Flex / Java like Selenium, Flexmonkium: (Not necessary but ideal)
• Experience with test driven development and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Self directed, ability to prioritize work independently
• Understanding of quality best practices, methodologies and the product lifecycle.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Good testing, troubleshooting, debugging and problem solving skills.
• Absolutely must have automated test experience.

Ideal Experience:

• Java, .net, HTML, LoadRunner, Visual C++, VBA, PHP, SQL,
• Windows Environment
• Bugzilla, Quality Center, : Test Director (Quality Center), QuickTest Pro, TestTrack, Rational Robot
• Perl, Python or other script writing tools

Education:

BS/BA degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related work experience in the software industry
