President's Message

When we think of quality we usually associate this with certain brands, especially consumer products such as vehicles or electronics including HDTVs and personal computers. We consult the various publications and consumer opinion websites to help us make our choice before we make that all important purchase. Usually that purchase is dictated by our budget so we have to make an informed and balanced decision thereby balancing our budget versus our need for a particular brand and its quality. A person's decision to purchase a product based on the quality of that product and ultimately its reputation in the market are determined by the effort that company has placed in ensuring that a high quality standard be implemented and maintained before the product sees the consumer shelf. The same goes for software products: a company whose main product is software must have a well established quality assurance procedure in place to ensure that the software is properly tested before being made available to the marketplace. Otherwise that product will fail if the software has too many problems or as we say, "Bugs". This failure will in turn result in the software company losing its reputation in the marketplace.

Efficiens believes that quality starts at the top and goes all the way down to the last person in the company. It must be a corporate way of life and everyone within the company must agree on that same philosophy. It is a fact that those companies that adopt this type of approach to quality ultimately end up with the best products and reputation which usually results in better sales than their competition that may lack this vision.

Therefore it can be said that quality is a vision that must be shared by all. At Efficiens we start with the vision and would like to pass along our philosophy.
